Though catholic followers had faced severe punishments, they continued to follow Catholicism and secretly built hidden chapels for worship. This is one among them, which was preserved for years.
EYE Film Museum
EYE film museum is situated in the northern banks of the IJ River and has a unique shaped structure. This is a museum that preserves a collection of Dutch and international cinematic related antique objects. A gallery space to demonstrate film making, four modern cinemas, and a multi – tiered restaurant are its main highlights. Film festivals, movie screenings, concerts etc. are the special events of the EYE museum.
Amsterdamse Bos
This calm and quiet park is one of the most attractive spots in the city. This spot is around 10 km from the city of Amsterdam and visitors can engage in activities such as hiking, jogging, cycling etc. A facility to rent and sail through its ponds, lakes and canals is also offered here.
